1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer high- and/natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you?... i avoid red heart, but like some lion brand, like lanscapes and watercolors, but not theyre wool-ease and things like that.
2. Do you spin? Crochet? ... want to learn to spin, and can crochet, but dont if i can help it.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.) ... not that i can think of right now.
4. How long have you been knitting? ... a year
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? ... knitpicks.com and amazon.com
6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.) ... spicy, warm, flowery scents
7. Do you have a sweet tooth? ... yes
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? ... anything, lately its been beading (making stitch markers and things like that)
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD) ... most anything, it goes in cycles, right now, its classic rock and soul. and yes. my comp does.
10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? ... turqouise. (really any blues, but especially that one), black, chocolate brown, pink, grey, red, ivory,
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? ... live with my mom, and my poodle, mollie.
12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know) ... besides wife to a fabulous husband/mother of happy well adjusted children? to be a midwife, open a birthing center, and maybe a yarn store/cafe
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? ... caron simply soft, enigma, ECCO superwash merino, koigu kpm, watercolors -lion brand.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? ... red heart, rough anything, wool-ease
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s? ... cables, lace (totally inept so far though, grrr)
16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit? ... cables, and small sweaters. (instant gratification)
17. What are you knitting right now? ... eyelash yarn shawl for my mom, cabled scarf, mittens, ribbed hat, mariah, baby zip hoodie, wide chevron scarf/shawl, and i think thats it.
18. What do you think about ponchos? ... theyre ok, if the yarn is really neat, or there is a cool lace pattern.
